Welcome to Pinedale Residential Center

Pinedale Residential Center is a licensed Residential Care Facility (RCF). We have a small home like environment that can house up to 50 individuals. Pinedale Residential Center is able to extend care to residents that have entered the RCF and have become dependent in one or more activities of daily living or who may have increased medical needs.

Our Caring Community

Pinedale Residential Center is located in South Carolina only minutes from beautiful, historic downtown Camden. We currently provide four levels of care for our residents depending on their needs. Residents in our retirement living facilities enjoy delightful fellowship with potlucks, game nights, trips to the theater for concerts or plays and other activities. Residents are also encouraged to attend the planned activities arranged by Pinedale Residential Center and organized by the Activity Director such as monthly Birthday-Anniversary parties, Bible Studies, Wii Bowling, and many games like Dominoes, Corn-hole, Yahtzee and Bingo just to name a few.

A Residential Care Facility is a building or complex consisting of shared or individual living units in a home-like surrounding. An RCF is not a nursing home. Residential Care Facilities offer and coordinate a range of supportive services available on a 24-hour basis to assist with daily activities, while also meeting health and social needs.

Licensed Residential Care

Pinedale Residential Center is licensed as a Residential Care Facility. Pinedale Residential Center is able to provide assisted living facilities to any resident who becomes dependent in one or more activities of daily living and who has increased medical acuity.

Residential Care fees are based upon the level of care needed by each resident.

Available Floor Plans

Pinedale Residential Center currently has two floor plans available to suit your needs. All units feature a private bathroom and individual climate control. The Studio Floorplan includes a walk-in shower and two closets, while the Suite also features a master bedroom and personal kitchen with mini-fridge and microwave.

Residential Care

Pinedale Residential Center is licensed as a Residential Care Facility (RCF). We have a small home like environment that can house up to 50 individuals. Pinedale Residential Center is able to extend care to residents that have entered the RCF and have become dependent in one or more activities of daily living or who may have increased medical needs. We currently provide three levels of care for our residents depending on their needs.

Care With Assistance

For the Senior Adult who needs 24 hour care in one or more ADLS including bathing, dressing, diet, medications and safety, Pinedale Residential Center provides a highly trained staff to assist with any need that our loved ones may have. We can provide Laundry & Linen services, assist with daily activities, provide medical supplies, therapy, meals, pharmacy assistance and even Licensed Beauticians.

Care of Dementia & Mentally Impaired

Pinedale Residential Center is also able to provide for the Senior Adult whose behavior needs monitoring and redirecting, or who suffers from short term memory loss and/or short attention span. This level of care is designed for those who may need assistance with many but not all ADLS.

Respite Care

Available for those Senior Adults who need temporary care from a weekend to a month. Respite Care offers a temporary stay to recover from an illness or hospital stay or relief for the family member acting as a caregiver. Private Rooms are available and each resident is encouraged to bring some of the their personal furnishings.

THE PINEDALE RESIDENTIAL CENTER CARE STAFF

Provides 24-hour monitoring and care services for our licensed care residents and is sensitive to the needs of the independent residents. A registered nurse oversees the department and is in charge of resident services and activities.

LIFE ENRICHMENT – ACTIVITY DIRECTOR

FOOD SERVICE STAFF

Provides residents with three nutritious meals a day, and handles special needs.

MAINTENANCE STAFF

Maintains grounds and handles special requests for building maintenance.

Provides bookkeeping, clerical and administrative secretarial support.

ACTIVE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Our organization began with the experienced guidance of a governing Board of Trustees with the help of a Board of Advisers in 1984. These members help ensure that our direction and goals remain consistent with those set forth by the Board of Advisors.
